I wear flip flops all year round.  Yes, even in the snow.  I think I wore tennis shoes maybe 5 times this year. (not counting exercising) I like the extra strap across the top of the shoes.  It lends a little extra support to the thong part of the sandal.  These are super comfy and soft.  Another good thing about the sandals is that they are thin, but supportive.  Some sandals are thin and too floppy and it feels like you are walking straight on the ground.  With these smartdogs, they are thin, but by no means do you feel like you are walking on pavement.  When they get dirty, just throw them in the washer and wash them, how great is that?
