Does your little boy or girl like to take things apart? Mine sure does. Several months ago I noticed that my son had a screwdriver and the tape measurer. I thought what harm could be done, after all we were sitting the same room. Let's just say I now know what the inside of a tape measurer looks like!! Yep, that's right, he took all of the screws out!!
Toy state has come out with a new line of CAT® vehicles designed to be taken apart. The mini versions are like a puzzle, and the regular size version comes with a tool kit to assist in dismantling!!
The take-a-part machines have a pull back motor, and are very easy to take-a-part. They are designed for pre school kids 2 and up. The dump truck contains 8 pieces.
You can also pick up a take-a-part machine in a wheel loader or skid steer.
This truck is such a blast. He loved taking it apart, and putting it back together was also fun. It was almost like putting a puzzle together, which he loves to do too! I am going to take a look at the bigger version and see if he is capable of working on it. I am thinking Christmas present on this one!
