Easter is one of Martha’s favorite Holidays! Join Martha and Friends as they create
and craft their Easter baskets to enter an Easter contest. Everyone wants to win the prize but
Martha shows us that winning is not everything and that helping a friend in
need is more important.
I had never watched Martha and Friends before, and didn't even know it was from Martha Stewart when I first watched it. However, after watching it and looking more closely at the pic in the corner I figured it out! This DVD is a cute way to show kids how to make crafts, with a little story along with it to keep it interesting. Martha Steward seems to have done a good job making this kids version.
You
can download craft projects and recipes to your computer using this same dvd. Features of Martha’s Craft Corner include “how to” make chick
cakes, Button Bracelets, Egg Wreaths, Eggshell Flower Pots,
Marbleized eggs and more! Each episode offers tips and little ways on
how to create the same projects Martha and her friends are making. I love making crafts with the boys, and it keeps them so busy. I was glad for these little tidbits to help me get them intersted. We haven't tried out any of these crafts, but I think I want to try the egg wreath.
Also,
don’t forget about the BONUS webisodes: Eggstravaganza,
Valentine’s Day learn how to make a lollipop flower baskets and
conversation heart cookies. Cupcake Calender features
delicious cupcakes made for each month of the year! Like
a cupcake witch for October.
This is a great idea for your Easter basket.
You can pick up your own copy of this DVD for $5.98 at Walmart.
