Installing Dragon Naturally Speaking was very simple.  After inserting the disc.  I just followed the step by step instructions.  After the disc is loaded, then I was given a choice of reading material.  I read this aloud for four minutes into the microphone that was provided. This part analyzes your speech quality.  I then used this product with Microsoft word.  I spoke into the microphone and then Dragon Naturally Speaking typed for me.  Any errors I corrected and the software automatically learned and corrected itself in the future.  For example, I said "Nadine", but it typed tangerine.  I corrected this and then the next time that I said "Nadine" the program remembered the previous correction and typed it properly.  The hardest part for me to get used to, was saying the punctuation.  For example, if I needed a comma, I actually had to say the word comma.  Once I got used to that, I was on a roll.  I wish I had this when I was doing my college papers.  Everyone that knows me, knows that I talk extremely fast, so this would have been a real time saver for me in college!!  I am excited to use this program to type my email and search the web.  I have many friends who have windows messenger and it is going to be so easy to chat with them now.
