I have two boys that will eat the apple skin, and one who will not. He is always trying to use my apple cutter to cut his apple that way he can nibble around the skin without having to have it peeled. That thing is sharp!! I don't want him using it, but of course he knows he isn't going to hurt himself. I was thrilled when we got this kid friendly apple slicer! I still need to watch him, but the handles on this apple shaped slicer make it so much safer!
Country Crock has some great recipes as well. I think we are going to try this one with the apples, so the kids can help slice them!

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is my mom's stuffing straight from the bird. Especially the stuffing that falls out and is laying in the bottom of the pan. lol
