Michael Angelo's Italian Gourmet Foods Review

Michael Angelo's authentic Italian recipes were perfected over generations, with family care, in Southern Italy. Michael learned the art of Italian cooking from his mother Sara's kitchen and is uncompromising in making sure Michael Angelo's provides the highest quality ingredients and outstanding homemade taste only an Italian mother could duplicate.

The first dish I tried from Micheal Angelo's was the meat lasagna.  I picked up a single serve portion so that I could try it out for lunch.
It is one of their original family recipes! They sauté  freshly ground beef (no trim!) with fresh garlic and onions, add specially grown tomatoes and a blend of Italian spices to create a delicious meat sauce. They layer firm lasagna pasta with the sauce, premium ricotta and mozzarella and top it off with imported Pecorino Romano.

Oh, boy.  I am hooked.  I really don't like making lasagna because it takes so long. This only took five minutes in the microwave!  I usually fix a quick sandwich for lunch, so it was really nice to have an entree instead.  The lasagna was delicious and wasn't too spicy, as some frozen lasagnas can be.

We also tried the Chicken Piccata.  My sister-in-law makes this dish, so we were hungry for it.  For Christmas one year she actually gave us a few jars of one of the ingredients--capers!!

I made this for the family one night and it went over well, especially for my middle son whose favorite food is chicken!!!  Again, this was very fast to fix.  I go to college twice a week, so I need something very fast to fix.  Don't tell my sister-in-law that I have been eating Michael Angelo's Chicken Piccata, instead of making it with her recipe!!!
