Coolibar Sun Protective Hats and Clothing Review

The name Coolibar comes from a eucalyptus tree found in the harsh Australian outback. Coolibar provides welcome relief and protection from the sun's damaging ultraviolet rays.

While sun protective clothing is a new concept in America, it has been used in Australia for over a decade where it is now more popular than sunscreen. I checked out the sun shawl and sun blanket. I was really curious on what the fabric was going to feel like. It was really soft. Another thing that I wondered about was this. How can covering up, cool me off? It really is a neat concept, that moisture wicking technology. On some days, I think I should be wearing a full suit of it to protect me from all of the sun's rays. I think that the sun blanket is an awesome little blanket to put over the baby while he is in his car seat. I was thinking infant seat at first, then I got to thinking about my older boys. On long trips, sometimes the sun is beating down on them. I bet this sun blanket would be nice for them too!

Coolibar does offer some really great swimwear for the whole family, and also some actual clothing that I thought would work for my little boys to wear on outings. Oh, and they also have a really cute totebag!!
