Dino Dan is a favorite in at our house. This little boy has quite the imagination, especially when it comes to his dinosaurs. He actually sees dinosaurs right in his own town, garage, school, etc. My boys were excited to watch a Christmas themed Dino Dan. I am sure we will watch it a few dozen times before Christmas actually gets here!
Another great thing about owning the DVD is the FREE App that you can download for your iPad or iPhone. We don't have either, because we are still living in actual dinosaur times at my house!! Of course, we enjoyed the DVD even though we weren't able to use the app. However, if you live in current time, you can purchase the “Dino Dan - ‘Twas A Dinosaur” DVD and download the free Dino Dan: Dino Player augmented reality app (available on Apple iTunes). Once loaded, the app will present a menu displaying the fearsome T-Rex. Hit the ‘Start’ button to begin seeing through the iOS device’s camera. Point the camera to the back of the “Dino Dan - ‘Twas A Dinosaur” DVD cover (which also acts as the AR marker) and watch the mighty T-Rex emerge. Click anywhere on the screen to make the T-Rex roar!
