New Bertolli Meals Plus Giveaway

My husband loves mushrooms and asparagus, so I decided to surprise him with the Roasted Chicken &Mushroom Risotto.  I am super busy with trying to get all of the kid's homework and baths done before he gets done from work, so I cannot be messing around in the kitchen with a time consuming meal!  I have made Bertolli meals in the past, and already had confidence that this would be a cinch.  Sure enough.  It didn't take long to make and I think my oldest boy cooked have cooked it himself!  Well, now that might be letting things get to carried away at this house...............

So what did we think?  I don't like mushrooms so I picked them out and gave them to my husband.  After that, the dish was perfect.  I love rice anyways, and this hit the spot.  My husband loved this dish and actually asked me to put it on the shopping list for next time!!

To add to this exciting news, in addition to their new risottos, they also have two new Bertolli Meal Soup flavors – Italian-Style Wedding and Ricotta & Lobster Ravioli in a Seafood Bisque.  Adding to the four flavors released last year, these new soups are hearty and fresh-tasting with high-quality proteins, crisp vegetables and al dente pasta.

We could eat soup several times a week.  The kids, my husband, and I love the different variations.  However, sometimes it does have to come out of a can because of our schedules.  It was nice to make up this Italian-Style Wedding Soup and have it ready when my husband came home from work. Again, so fast and so easy, and sooooo tasty.  He actually thought I made it and was going on about how maybe I could make it for his next potluck.  That made me happy, but I had to confess that it was Bertolli!  Yep, add one more thing to that grocery list..............
