Pirate’s Booty® Sets Sail with Disney Junior’s Jake and the Never Land Pirates Plus Giveaway

My boys and I got to try a new snack this week called Pirate’s Booty Aged White Cheddar.  What they are: They are little soft puffs  made from puffed rice and corn and blended with real aged white cheddar cheese.  Pirate’s Booty has half the fat and fewer calories than regular fried potato chips, so it’s a snack that kids and moms agree on.  Pirate’s Booty is gluten-free and made in a peanut and tree-nut free facility.  I think that the fact that this snack is make in a nut free facility is great.  My little boy has a friend with nut allergies and now we know of a tasty snack he can share.  Trust me, if you have ever tried to take a birthday treat to school, you know there are very few treats that fit this bill!

My boys and I love this cheesy snack.   They love Jake and the Never Land Pirates too, so that was a plus!  I sent a package with the boys for milk time break at school and apparently "Pirate's Booty" sparked quite a conversation at snack time.  It made the other kids giggle a little bit, about him eating booty and my little boy wanted to take a bag the next day to entertain the class again!

     

If you have never watched Jake and the Never Land Pirates, you can find it on Disney Junior. It is cable TV’s #1 series among Boys 2-5 for the past two consecutive years, revolves around a crew of kid pirates – leader Jake and pals Izzy and Cubby – and follows their Never Land adventures as they work to outwit two infamous characters, the one and only Captain Hook and Mister Smee, from the Disney film classic "Peter Pan."
