My son will be seven next month and these products are perfect for him.  He saw the monkeys on the pomade container and was ready to use it.  Of course, his four year old brother had to get in on the action too!!  My oldest isn't quite as experimental as the four year old, but he liked the purple stuff(as he called it).  He normally wears his hair really flat, so we just gave him a little more "do".  My four year old let me go all out and do the spikes.  He said he was cool.
