Bike glow review

Summer is here, heralding the arrival of later nights for kids who refuse to go to sleep while it is still light outside, demanding just a few more minutes to zoom around on their bike. During low light hours, however, safety can be a huge issue as bikes are not designed to make children very visible to neighborhood traffic. With just a small reflector on the front and back of the bike and maybe the pedals, children can be almost invisible from the side. A new safety product called BikeGlow solves this problem by illuminating the entire frame of a bicycle in bright, flashing lights.

BikeGlow is a slender tube of lights that is wrapped around the frame of the bike and can be set for constant or flashing illumination to ensure that children can be seen on their bikes at all times – even in complete darkness.
Even though my children and I do not go on a lot of bike rides on the town streets, we do like to go down our bike trail which is over a mile long.    Sometimes it is very hard to see someone ahead of you on the trail when the sun is going down.   If you happen to ride up on a biker and you can't see them, it can obviously be very dangerous.  This bike glow makes it very easy for people to see you.
When I am out in the evening, I see a lot of little kids out on their bikes.  I have a hard time seeing them.  I wish all of the neighborhood children had one of these on their bikes!  Well, actually, I wish I had one on my bike when I was lttle too.  I got really nervous when I was riding home those few blocks at dusk!!!  These come in blue, yellow, red, green, white, aqua, pink, and purple.  So, stay safe and get a Bike glow for every member of the family.

Thank you to Bike glow for my sample used in this review.  My opinions are my own and honest.
