What exactly is Zaycon Foods? 

They are a privately owned company based in the state of Washington. The company was founded in 2009 to bring fresh meats and other products direct to consumers at wholesale prices. The founders have extensive experience in sales, business management and the grocery industry.  '

Zaycon has many foods to choose from.  They offer chicken, turkey, pork, beef, and fish.  They also offer a variety of fruit.  Zaycon hosts "events."  Each event will specialize in one of the meats or fruits.  The customer puts their order in, and then drives to the "event" to pick up their meat or fruit.

Ordering your case of meats or fruit is simple to do.  Just go the Zaycon website and register here. It is just a short form, name, address, email and password.  When an event comes to your area, and email will be sent to you notifying you of the event in your area.  You can then put your order in and pick it up on the date of the event.

My family and I, plus a few select friends and neighbors tried the chicken out.  Zaycon's chicken comes in a very sturdy box.  Inside the box is a plastic bag, and inside that bag is three individual bags of chicken breasts. I set out to packaging my chicken breasts for the freezer.  I ended up with 50 chicken breasts.  Now, keep in mind that the chicken is sold by weight, so you might get more or less chicken.  I know of someone else who got 60 chicken breast total.  I could have easily cut my chicken breasts smaller if I wanted to because these chicken breasts were huge!!!  I have four boys to cook for, so I left mine as is, because we need a lot of chicken!  Needless to say, we have been enjoying our Zaycon chicken often!  Two of our dishes so far have been baked chicken and chicken and dumplings.
