FREE national event celebrates the best of fall fashion with an evening of food, fun,
entertainment, shopping, prize giveaways and more
WHAT: Area
residents are invited to party in style as Penn Square celebrates
Fashion’s Night Out, a global initiative taking place across the country
to celebrate the best of fall fashion. Shoppers will be blown away as
retailers throughout the mall roll out the red carpet on the evening of
Thursday, September 8.
Fashion’s
Night Out at Penn Square will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. with live DJ’s,
prize giveaways, candy and popcorn bar, lite bites and more! From 7:00
p.m. – 9:00 p.m., participating retailers will offer special in store
events and surprises with their own Fashion’s Night Out events.

WHY: Fashion’s
Night Out (FNO) is an unprecedented global initiative originally
created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and
boost the industry’s economy during the recession. On September 8, 2011,
in response to overwhelming demand, Fashion’s Night Out will return to
New York City and over 100 cities nationwide to highlight fashion and
support retail with exciting events that include designer appearances,
celebrity guests, fashion shows and musical performances. In the United
States, the program is a collaboration between American Vogue, the
Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City
