When you were a child, did you have a pet? When I was little I had a bunch of cats for pets!! I loved them so much, but surprisingly, I am now a dog lover.
My Hare Line author,
Patsy M. Henry, was from a hard working farm family, and there was no
time or money for pets. The thought of having one never entered her
mind. At the age of fifty-seven, her husband surprised her with a
rabbit for Easter. The My Hare Line Series of Books is actually written by Patsy M. Henry.
Follow along as the author takes you on an emotional ride as she learns how to take care of Bunny Rabbit. She adds Jack and Flopsey to the family and the action picks up. Emotions run high as two dogs attack the rabbits. Our author develops a love and strong bond unlike any she had known before. My Hare Line tells the story of their sometimes-bumpy ride.
My Hare Line Meets the Brown Rabbit came to life when a wild rabbit named Brownie moved to a new home under a holly bush in the front yard of a big house. Emotions heighten as she discovers a prison camp in the back yard. Rather than leave, Brownie bravely decides to observe Mr. and Mrs. Warden as they run the prison camp even though her granddad taught her to hide when humans are around. My Hare Line Meets The Brown Rabbit tells the delightful story of Brownie’s investigation of the prison camp and the Wardens.
Have you ever been afraid of something and not be able to explain your fear? That’s exactly what Rascal experiences in My Hare Line and the Dead Pine Tree. He realizes that the tree in his pen is dead. He tries to communicate this to Mr. And Mrs. Warden, but they do not understand. Read along as Rascal takes action to avoid being hurt by the dead pine tree.
After the tree fell and knocked the fence down, Brownie asked Rascal if anyone escaped. Rascal thought this was the silliest thing he had ever heard. As usual, Rascal talked to Aunt Paula Rabbit about what Brownie had said to him. That’s when he learned about his adventurous family.
My children love reading and being read too. The first book in the series tells us more from Patsy's view how things went when she added the rabbits to her family. My boys were excited for her that she got a new pet! The pictures in these books are real photographs which had my little boys watching for the next page!
In the first book there is a little, how should I put it? Real rabbit drama? I knew beforehand that the rabbits were attacked by the dogs, so before I read that part I kind of prepared the boys, but they were ok with it. We know that some things are part of nature. They become attached to the rabbits though right away and were ready for the the next books. The next books in the series are told more from the rabbits points of view. My boys giggled at what the rabbits thought and were doing.
All in all, we really enjoyed the My Hare Line Books. We hope Patsy continues to write many more in the series!!! Don't forget to check out her entire website. http://patsymhenry. tatepublishing.net/ You can pick up her books on the official site, Barnes &Noble, or Amazon.

I had a friend with a rabbit that was HUGE! I don't know what they fed him, but I'd say he was obese.

I had a pet rabbit when I was in high school. He was black and white spotted, and his favorite snacks were watermelon and peaches.

A friend had a rabbit that used to live loose in the house with them. Slept on their bed etc.. He was litter box trained like a cat. Didn't know it could be done until they did it.

I've never had a pet rabbit, but my wife's family had them just running around free where thry lived in the bush - you could call them, pet them, feed them. It was pretty awesome.

i had a huge lop growing up. He would get mad at us when we would put him in his cage, because he liked to be out running freely around our house. When mad he would kick stuff at us!

My pet rabbit, Spaz, loved to be free around the house to roam. We let him for months, until one day we went to vacuum under the couch and found the sad disaster of carpet scraps he left us after chewing the carpet to bits!! Now he has a play area that he stays in :)
Never had a pet rabbit, parents wouldnt let me have one. Still a little bitter about that, lol

We had a black and white pet rabbit named Chubby! I haven't thought about him for ages.
I used to have a pure white rabbit, cant remember its name, but it had red eyes and hated to be touched to needless to say my pet rabbit didnt last very long :(
