Rooware's New Line of Eco-Friendly Children's Tableware Review and Giveaway

Rooware is an eco-friendly, kid's tableware company that is unique by offering the only bio-plastic line of kids tableware that features characters!

In 2009, a mom of 4 started Rooware because she wanted to ensure her children's tableware was fun, healthy and completely eco-friendly.

These are the four cute characters that are featured on Rooware's plates, and bowls. They will be releasing cups too soon!! The plates and bowls come in pink, purple, blue, and orange. Rooware also sells sets of utensils called Rootensils in the same four colors.

My boys tried out the orange Rootensils and the orange Kai Roobowl.

The Roobowl features snap on handles! These fun ear shaped handles, are great for little hands, helping to create a stable hold for your child. As your child grows and the handles are no longer necessary, just snap off the handles.

My favorite thing about this plastic plate and bowl is that it can be microwaved for up to 45 seconds. I have a few other cute plastic plates and bowls and they are not microwaveable. Yes, I have tried, the plate or bowl looked fine after the corn dog cooked a minute, but the plate was so hot, that I thought it would burn right through my finger. Well, if I have to heat something on another plate and then transfer it to the cute plate, then I am now washing two plates so my boys can have the cute plate. PLEASE!! Okay, well you know I do that sometimes to avoid crying, yelling, or plate throwing. Sorry, I try not to throw plates, but it happens. Okay, you got me, I am not throwing the plate. Anyways, with this Rooware, I can just heat up that wretched corn dog on the cute plate or in the cute bowl and serve it!!!!!!!!!!! Another cool thing is the snap on handles. I like to put dry cereal in it, for a small snack. When my baby decided to drag his bowl through my house, even when I tell him not to, he at least can hold on to the bowl easier with the handles. The handles definately lessens his chances of spilling the contents!!!
