Live Clean Eco-Friendly Baby Care Products Review and Giveaway

The body's largest organ is skin, so it's no surprise that many people are concerned about what they applying to it. Many products have ingredients such as Phthalates and Parabens that have been linked to possible side effects. Cleansing and foaming agents (like SLS or Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate and DEA) used in many products can be irritating or harsh on your skin. Live Clean eliminates all of these ingredients and uses only non-irritating, gentle, natural, plant based ingredients.

I love bath time with my little ones.  This is a time that I get to spend one on one with them, and is generally a very fun time.  We love to try out new shampoos and soaps, but we have to be very careful because two of mine have eczema.  My second child is 5 1/2 and just came down with eczema, and his first case caused a rash over his entire body.  I am now leaning toward a total shift to green baby products.  So Live Clean came around at the perfect time to try out.  

We tried out the baby wash and shampoo first.  We have used it for a few days.  I do want to mention that it doesn't foam up a lot, which as I have learned means that it is less harsh.  Once I got used to that, we really liked the wash, and thought it made them smell and act squeaky clean!

After they got out of the bath, I patted them dry and used the lotion.  I have to be picky about lotion, because in the winter my own hands often get chapped.  Using certain lotions on my children can make my hands burn, so I definitely want to make sure that harsher lotion doesn't go on my little one's skin.  This rubbed in well, and I was able to dress them quickly, which is a plus since sometimes they bathe in the morning!!!  These products are recommended for babies through 4 years old, but I am using it on both my 3 year old and my 5 1/2 year old with great results.

If you are having a boy, make sure you have this at home when you bring that little guy home!!!  If you have had a baby boy then you know what I am talking about.  You will use a lot of this and gauze for that circumcised little boy.  Ok, now that my boys, are much older, sometimes we use this for chapped lips and sometimes even rough hands!!!
