Apple Cinnamon Chex Review Plus 6 Winner Giveaway!!

General Mills is introducing a new Chex to their cereal line-Apple Cinnamon Chex. It’s sprinkled with real apple and cinnamon. 

With 130 calories and eight grams of sugar per serving.

It’s made with whole grains, giving you key nutrients, vitamins and minerals. 

AppleCinnamon is the sixth gluten-free cereal flavor offered by Chex; additional gluten-free flavors include, Rice, Corn, Honey Nut, Chocolate and Cinnamon.

 Apple Cinnamon Chex will be in stores in July, but my family and I received a Chex package a few days ago with a cute green crate and barrel bowl, complete with spoon, and a box of the new Chex all packaged in a basket!  After I opened the box of cereal, all I really had to do was grab some milk!!!  My boys will have a bowl of cereal in the morning for breakfast, but they also enjoy it as a snack.  During the school year, they often have a bowl of cereal right when they get home.  Honestly, I do look for nutritious cereals for them because I do know they are needing something nutritious before heading out for the school day, and also I know they probably will be having a refill later on!!!

  I remember when I was little eating the "original" chex at my grandma's.  I enjoyed them, but I was sure that they had to soak in milk for awhile. Now there are so many more flavors available, I wonder which would have been my grandma's favorite.

In a few weeks the Apple Cinnamon Chex will be hitting the shelves. I wanted to make mention again that it is gluten-free.  I have a friend, D. R. who has to have gluten-free foods or she gets really sick.  It is nice to see that chex have cereals for her.  Luckily, we don't have any gluten allergies here, but of course, the Chex is for everyone, so we ate the whole box!!!
