Not only is this kit a great idea to get your little ones to eat better, it is really cute too!!  You can have your little one wear the chef hat while they help you make the recipes.  My little boys love to help me cook and bake, so making frozen "treats" was also very fun for them. Plus in the summer when school is out, we need activities like this to keep us busy! They cracked up when I told them that the spoon was actually the handle.  This is a great concept of freezing the normal spoon handle inside the mold and the child using the "spoon" as their handle.  It is really hard for children with certain issues to hold a straight stick, and really I don't like to hold the teeny tiny thing either!!!

We are trying out some of the recipes in the book.  Keep in mind sometimes I do use canned baby food instead of steaming and mashing my own vegetables.  I have to save a little time on some days!!!  Again the BellyFulls are a great way to present a tasty treat and also provide some extra nutrition.  One of our favorites is the Carrot Creamsicle.  It has carrots, ice cream, and my kids favorite, mandarin oranges.  Since they were helping me make these, they were a little put off by carrots with their mandarin oranges, but I told them to relax and try it, and they loved it!!!

Thank you to the HopeFull company for my samples used in this review.  All my opinions are my own and honest.
