It’s summer time, and we think that’s a perfect excuse for a Backyard Campout! Join Sid, his dad, and Gerald for a backyard adventure. The boys discover the animals and insects that inhabit the back yard and Gerald learns that nighttime darkness isn't scary.

My husband and I have been wanting to set up our tent in the backyard, but were wondering how our little boys would take it.  For the most part they love the outdoors and have been wanting to roast marshmallows. It was nice to watch a dad and his boy having fan the simple way.  I say this all of the time.  We are a no video game household.  We like to do simple things too.  I think a lot of kids could benefit from this type of quality time.  Sid makes camping look even more fun. Looks like after watching Sid, we now have to let them have a campout! (Now, I don't care how fun Sid says it is, I do require a bathroom, so my family will have to experience this in our backyard as well!)
