I started training for a 5K. I literally trained for nine weeks and then ran the 5K, without a bottle of water with me. I couldn't carry it because I was so exhausted from the actual training. I know that having no water wasn't the best thing ever. I didn't know what to do though without buying some really expensive fitness gear. I saw the Swiggies, and wanted to give them a try.
Swiggies come in both adult and kids versions. The adult Swiggies hold 11 ounces of water or sports drink while the kids version holds 8 ounces. It is strapped onto
the wrist and has a pull top. It eliminates the need to carry water
bottles, which can be cumbersome to carry and break your stride when you
have to stop to take a drink. You just fill them up with cold water and
go!! Both Swiggies supply you with the necessary 11 ounces of liquid to
complete your workout without the risk of dehydration. The adults come in neon green, blue, red, and white. The kids version come in green, blue, orange, pink, purple, and yellow.
We tried the kids version, which indeed did fit around my wrist!! Much easier than trying to run with a bottle!! It was kind of nice to have a drink while running! I just put water in the bottle and put it in the refrigerator overnight so it was read to go. My son is playing T-ball and I think I am going to give him try one of these. He gets so thirsty out on the field and wants to sit down. I am thinking if he will just take a quick sip, it might be very helpful for him in this heat!!!!
Here's how to win-
Tell me if you have ever run a 5K.

I haven't ever run a 5K. I think it would be fun, but I need to be in better shape before I do that.
