Are you looking for a fun outdoor game to try out? We were looking for a great fall afterschool game. We tried a game called Ring Stix,
which is an outside game played with two players.. Each player has two
plastic sticks that loosely resemble swords in shape not "pointyness."
One player puts the plastic ring on both of his
sticks and tries to fling them toward the other
player, who is standing across from the first player and tries to catch
it on his sticks.
We quickly discovered that less is more in the flinging department.
The boys and I were flinging that ring across the yard and there was no
way we were going to catch! I then put my nine year old and seven year
fairly close together and had them gently fling the ring. It took them
about half an hour to get the hang of it, but then they really were
doing pretty good. This game was actually really fun for my husband and
I. We were both giggling as we were trying to get the hang out of it.

Stix Lite comes with 4 Stix(orange, green, blue and purple) Each
player uses 2. It also comes with a red ring. This is a full set for
two players. They also float in water!!!
